Skywalk Riesling
Wine
Castle Rock Estate Skywalk Riesling is sourced from vines nestled on the eastern slopes of the Porongurup mountain.
The wine is named after the suspended walkway affixed to the side of Castle Rock, the large granite boulder which inspired the winery's name. The Granite Skywalk overlooks the vast undulating landscape in all directions.
The winery is built on two levels, using the natural slope of the land to allow the grapes to be gravity fed at every stage of the winemaking – not pumped. This reduces contact with the skins and seeds, preserving pure varietal characters in the wine.
Straw green, Castle Rock Estate Skywalk Riesling has citrus flavours, a tight mineral structure and a crisp, clean finish. Cellaring potential is 10 years.
